Very long day today. After our tour of Vancouver we had a long wait in the airport. Our flight to Munich was 12 hours long. The plane was awesome and much bigger than the domestic flight we took to Vancouver. A little excitement on the plane as the elderly lady from Bosnia sitting behind me had a health issue that I believe hustled our landing ahead of other planes. The emergency doctor had to come on the plane to care for her. I think she was ok - just oxygen was required while we are on the plane. We landed safely in Munich ahead of our partner group from Boston.
We headed into Munich city center where we were given a short tour and some free time to check out shops. Streets were very crowded but it was a great experience to see the hustle of Munich in the central square.
Tomorrow we are heading to Dachau in the morning and Munich in the afternoon. Some of our group is going on a bike tour of Munich tomorrow while others will tour around Munich on their own. More updates tomorrow.
